Your primary stress pattern:

Relationship with Movement.

The truth is, how you move is reflected in your skin.

The language of the body is movement—movement of blood through vessels, food through the digestive tract, and nutrients to your skin.

And the language of the skin? It’s the ultimate messenger, expressing how well things are flowing—or where they’re stuck—beneath the surface.

When stress hits, healthy movement plays a vital role in balancing your nervous system and keeping your skin resilient.

Movement isn’t about grueling workouts or counting calories. It’s about releasing built-up tension, creating flow, and using your body’s natural rhythms to support vitality and calm skin.

This doesn't have to be your story.

When your relationship with movement is out of balance—whether from tension, stagnation, or an all-or-nothing mindset—your body stays on high alert, and your skin reacts with flare-ups, dullness, or inflammation.

The good news? Movement doesn’t need to be intense to be effective. Gentle, intentional movement can shift everything—starting with your skin.

Tips to get get started right now.

Shake It Out

Turn on your favorite song and let your body move however it wants. Dance, sway, or even just shake your hands and feet to release tension. Close your eyes to focus on how your body feels as you move, rather than how it looks.

Pro Tip: Choose a song that makes you smile. The combination of joyful movement and uplifting music is a double win for your skin and mood.

Gentle Movement Breaks

Set a timer to remind yourself to get up once an hour. Use this time to stretch, take a few deep breaths, or walk around for a couple of minutes.

Simple stretches to try: Roll your shoulders backward and forward to release tension. Do a gentle neck stretch by tilting your head to one side and holding for a few breaths. Stand up and shake out your hands, feet, and legs to create flow.

Tune Into Stuck Spots

At the end of the day, close your eyes and scan your body. Ask yourself: Where am I holding tension? What movement would feel good to release this tension?

Respond to your body’s signals with compassion and curiosity, not judgment.
